When you go on vacation you
expect to be "WOW'ed" by the FUN … NOT by the
price !!! 
Here at Scuba Steve's Scuba Shack we offer a LOT of exciting
dives and diving activities for nearly every member of your
family, from the 10 year old up to Grandma and Grandpa and
beyond !!! Our prices are based on small and comfortable
numbers of divers in our groups.
- We do not mix divers of different certification ratings
(i.e. beginners/non-certified divers with Advanced Divers)
without the express approval (in advance) of all parties
involved.
- We do NOT conduct "cattle call" dives or
training classes - sardines belong in a can on the grocer's
shelf ... NOT on a boat or a dive site !!!
Some divers will ask, "Scuba
Steve, 'why' do you always do a 2-tank dive?"
The answer is an easy one.
I tell them, "There is just SO much to see !!! And,
after 11 years of diving Kauai's reefs and waters, I have
NEVER grown tired of them or bored from what I manage to
discover !!!"

On a rare occasion someone will ask "why" we don't
publish our rates. That's a very easy question to answer. Simply
put … 
it's the "economics" of working in a resort
environment with concierges and hotels who derive their
support and livelihood from the commissions that they earn
when they book activities for their guests, and ...
those divers who prefer to BOOK DIRECT and save a little bit
of money.
In the past some Activity Providers have experienced
instances where a guest will book an activity through a
concierge and later find that it would have been cheaper to
book direct with that same Activity Provider, and then they
are upset at the concierges and want a refund.
This puts both the concierge and the Activity Provider in an
awkward position since BOTH have provided a valuable service
to the guest, who may feel that they had been treated
unfairly.
Scuba Steve's Scuba Shack is extremely
competitive in our pricing (we're not the most expensive nor
are we the cheapest), yet we DO offer the highest levels of
safety, comfort and diver satisfaction around …
